On September 10, 2025, the well-known domestic clothing brand Xiahu Family held a donation ceremony in Nanjing, announcing that it would donate medical supplies worth a total of 20 million yuan to underdeveloped areas through the China Asia Development Association. Fa Ming, vice president of the China Asia Economic Development Association, and Niu Jianxiu, deputy secretary-general, attended the event. At the same time, five 22-meter-long flatbed trucks fully loaded with supplies set off simultaneously, heading for grassroots medical institutions in the region.
This donation focuses on the medical needs at the grassroots level and aims to improve the material reserve situation of medical institutions in underdeveloped areas. To ensure the efficient delivery of materials, the transportation team made meticulous arrangements and put into use five large flatbed trucks, each 3 meters wide and 4.5 meters high. The single carrying capacity of each vehicle is equivalent to three standard containers. It is expected that all the supplies will be delivered by mid-September, providing strong support for the local medical security during the autumn and winter seasons.
We have made over a hundred million pieces of clothing with high-quality cotton from underdeveloped areas. Now, we are going to warm the hearts of the people here with tens of millions of supplies. Guo Changqi, the chairman of Xiahu Family, said emotionally at the ceremony, "I am willing to give back most of the income from the company and myself to society." As an enterprise that has long been using high-quality cotton from underdeveloped regions, Xiahu Family has always been closely connected and in harmony with the development of these areas.
This cross-border donation is precisely based on Xiahu Family's original intention of "remembering the source when drinking water" - after the enterprise has grown and developed by leveraging the cotton resources in underdeveloped areas, it has given back to the production areas through public welfare to fill the gap of medical supplies at the grassroots level. This is also a key extension from "industrial assistance to underdeveloped areas" to "support for people's livelihood to underdeveloped areas", doing practical things for the local people through measures such as "warming the body with clothes and warming the heart with medical care".

The relevant person in charge of the recipient area introduced that this batch of supplies will be prioritized for distribution to remote township health centers, mainly used for equipment renewal in basic departments, and it is expected to cover more than 10,000 grassroots people.
After the ceremony, five trucks fully loaded with love honked their horns and set off, carrying the original aspiration and responsibility of domestic brands, speeding towards underdeveloped areas.
