Every December, when the aroma of liquor wafts over Yibin at the confluence of three rivers, the entire city enters its most poetic season. As a "thermometer" and "vane" for China's liquor industry, Wuliangye's 1218 Conference has long transcended the scope of ordinary commercial events, evolving into a strategic highland for forging industry consensus and predicting trends. Amid the global wave of "Chinese style," Wuliangye took the lead in proposing the vision of "measuring the world with harmony and beauty." More than brewing fine liquor, Wuliangye is promoting Chinese Baijiu from "quality height" to "cultural depth"—a commitment to preserving national culture and a brand responsibility. Thus, the 1218 Conference is not only a grand event for Baijiu but also a showcase of Oriental lifestyle aesthetics. Creating differentiated cultural products is a key step for Wuliangye to enhance brand value and set new industry benchmarks.

As a leading high-end cultural and creative brand under Wuliangye, Wuliang Wechuang has been on a mission to tell Chinese stories to the world through liquor since its inception. To mark this momentous occasion, it has joined hands with Professor Ding Chuanguo—Doctoral Supervisor at Jingdezhen Ceramic University—to overcome multiple technical challenges and innovate the "porcelain gallery" series: Wuliang Wechuang Peace & Prosperity Commemorative Liquor. Four of Professor Ding's representative porcelain paintings—Small Bridge over Flowing Water, Light Mist & Misty Clouds, Spring Water Reflecting Green, and Spring of Hometown—are integrated into four commemorative liquors: Cultural Holy Land Commemorative Liquor, Cultural Ode Commemorative Liquor, Cultural Prosperity Commemorative Liquor, and Cultural Harmony Commemorative Liquor. These works gaze at landscapes and pastoral scenes, eulogizing the harmony of home. Vessel and painting, liquor and porcelain complement each other, blending the elegance of porcelain art with Wuliangye's millennium-old brewing heritage to convey the timeless charm of Chinese culture and profound respect for the current golden age.

Professor Ding Chuanguo specializes in high-temperature color glaze ceramic painting, pioneering the integration of Western oil painting techniques with Oriental artistic expressions—earning him the title "Father of Porcelain Oil Painting." His four works not only depict vibrant spring scenes but also embody profound philosophical meanings through art:

Small Bridge over Flowing Water: With ancient stone bridges, rippling water, red buildings, and green trees, it outlines the tranquil poetry of Jiangnan water towns, evoking the sound of gurgling streams and birdsong, and conveying aspirations for a peaceful and beautiful life after trials.

Light Mist & Misty Clouds: Blooming flowers in the foreground, green mountains and scattered dwellings in the distance create a hazy, paradise-like beauty in spring mist, symbolizing vitality and hope in the new era.

Spring Water Reflecting Green: Lush grass, colorful forests, and green mountains weave a picture of revival, brimming with life's energy and celebrating nature and growth.

Spring of Hometown: Warm and peaceful houses under red-and-white flowering trees depict the warmth and sense of belonging of home in spring, expressing deep love for a harmonious family and happy life.

The core challenge of the project was transforming flat paintings into a three-dimensional "porcelain gallery" that complements the liquor inside, requiring a delicate symbiosis of porcelain, painting, and liquor. The team achieved systematic innovation from vessel shape to painting composition, overcoming numerous obstacles to turn each bottle into a portable art gallery:

Innovative square bottle design: Breaking away from traditional round liquor bottles, the square ceramic vessel embodies the ancient Chinese philosophy of "heaven is round and earth is square," reflecting Oriental wisdom and universal harmony in a compact space.

Painting integration: Tailored to the square bottle's shape, Professor Ding's compositions blend Western oil painting techniques with Oriental aesthetics, making each bottle a "piece of art" and setting a new standard for Baijiu aesthetics.

Immersive display: The four bottles form a stunning visual "porcelain gallery" when combined, while each stands as an independent art piece. Paired with accompanying porcelain plaques, the artistic atmosphere extends beyond the bottles to create an immersive cultural experience that is "drinkable, appreciable, collectible, and authenticable."

Beyond its artistic excellence, the set represents the pinnacle of Wuliangye's brewing craftsmanship. The liquor is selected from Wuliangye's core ancient pit workshops and rigorously evaluated through multiple rounds by an expert panel of Chinese Baijiu authorities, establishing an unshakable "quality moat." Recognized for its exceptional quality and cultural value, the set has been officially collected by the China Collectors Association and permanently archived by the Yingtan Art Museum. Globally limited to 300 sets, each comes with a uniquely numbered collection certificate.

More than a collectible "porcelain gallery," the set is a heirloom liquor to celebrate life's important moments, adding elegance and sincerity to high-end occasions:

Major festivals and family banquets: During Spring Festival, National Day, or memorable family gatherings, opening a bottle of "Peace & Prosperity" allows one to savor the mellow liquor while feeling the warmth and harmony in the paintings—an vivid interpretation of family reunion and national prosperity.

High-end business gifts: For strategic corporate moments or thanking key partners, this liquor conveys wishes for mutual excellence and shared success. Its cultural and artistic value reflects the giver's sophisticated taste and profound cultural heritage.

Life milestones: Whether weddings, birthdays, or academic achievements, this commemorative liquor rewards past efforts and inspires future endeavors.
